First test of the TP400-D6 Control Monitoring System

Assembly of the first engine for ground test

Assembly of the first propeller

Delivery of the first propeller to Istres

Delivery of a complete propeller to Hamilton Sundstrand, Connecticut for start of functional tests

- Full engine with propeller run (February)
- A year of tests on the propeller as well as development tests on composite blades

2007
- Certification tests for blades and other components (spinner, etc.)
- First flight of the Flying Test Bed (early 2007)
- Certification of the engine, with the A400M first flight taking place shortly thereafter
