The first sets of wings

 

Two sets of wings have now been produced under the responsibility of the Wing ACMT in Filton, UK and are being completed prior to their delivery to the FAL.

The whole wing, consists of the centre wing box from Saint-Nazaire in France and the two outer wing boxes made in Filton. One shipset is destined for the static test airframe but will first be transported to the FAL site in Seville where the three subassemblies will be joined together prior to being sent onward by road to Getafe and fitted to A/C 5000.


The centre wingbox ready for installation of the major systems. A400M Flap Hinge Fairings The first Ailerons and Spoilers were delivered to Filton in December 2006 by TAI in Turkey.
Their Trailing Edge panels come from CTRM in Malaysia.
